The falling action of the story of Orpheus is when Eurydice disappeared after Orpheus excitedly looked back at her. Upon returning to the Earth, Orpheus was given a strict condition by the God's never to look back until they reached the Earth. However, out of Orpheus excitement to tell Eurydice that they are about to be back to Earth, Orpheus forgot about the condition and as he turned back to look at his wife, she was long gone. Orpheus was again broken-hearted and in so much pain because of losing his wife for the second time around.
