the answer is hot since there were other findings around the other continents near antarteca like india so I guess those continents were once connected but separated though the movements of the tectonic plates and fossils cannot be moved unless it whould be people moving them from one place to another so since this fossil was a living plant before this was in the time during the dinosaurs and these plants grow in tropical places so thats why my answer is yes.
