Antarctica was probably located a bit higher than its current location now, in the South Pole. The melting of the glaciers due to global warming caused Antarctica to sink deeper to the South Pole today. If the glaciers remained intact and unaffected by the unreasonable heat of the sun directly penetrating the Earth because of the damaged ozone layer, Antarctica might have stayed where it initially positioned 250 million years ago. However, since there is theory of the existence of the supercontinent Pangaea leaving no trace of any other continent but Pangaea. A conclusion can be deduced that so long years ago, there was no Antarctica until Pangaea broke into pieces.
