The mood of the story of Orpheus is saddening because of the failed love story of Orpheus and Eurydice. It becomes more saddening when Orpheus had exhausted all means to have another chance with the woman she loves yet he failed to grab that chance. In one way or another, the story is quite enlightening in the sense that people must know the right time to hold on and let go to avoid even getting hurt because sometimes the only way to deal with pain is to accept the fact that pain is part of loving and loving doesn't mean forcing for some things to happen especially if it is beyond your capacity.
