Do you mean like this:?
1.2√345
In problems like this, you will move the decimals to the right until it reach the end...
-->
1.2√345 = 12.√345
...then you will do the same with the other
-->
12.√345.00 = 12√34500.
The numbers to the left of the decimal are the whole numbers. You start counting from ONES from left to right.
The numbers to the right of the decimal are the decimal numbers and start from TENTHS(with T H S) from right to left.
In this case, they are both whole numbers now...
12.√34500.
...then you can devide properly.
Remember, if how many times you will move the decimal from the number that have it, the same number you will do it in the whole number.
