Sagot :
Handling difficult behaviors is not a simple challenge. But it's not a surprising that we are facing this critical time. In the Bible it was prophesied that in this last days (2 Timothy 3:1-5), we will encounter challenges and difficult conditions such as:
- Abuse Of Power
- Self Destruction
- Foolishness
- Aggressiveness
- Hostility
- Pride
- Envy
- Compulsiveness
Of course, the Bible has enormous advice that can succeed dealing those difficult behaviors. Let's discuss some of these bible principles.
Abuse of Power
Abuse of power is a common challenge since we are imperfect same with those in authorities. Ecclesiastes 8:9 mentioned "that man has dominated man to his harm". In 1 Peter 2:17, we are obliged to follow what God had said: "Honor men of all sorts . . . honor the king." Their abuse in authority doesn't give us the authority to follow their steps nor give them disrespect minds and actions.
Self Destruction
The value of self-control perish self destruction. You need to be aware of those things that wrap up you in destruction such as anger, in materialism, sexual immorality, excessive food and drinking and many others.
How would you move by this statement by Jesus Christ: “If ever your hand makes you stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed than to go off with two hands into Ge·henʹna, into the fire that cannot be put out." ? Mark 9:43-45. Would you mind to exercise self-control?
Foolishness
I think the biggest cure for this is education. Education in secular even in higher level doesn't mean that foolishness will flow away. The best education that will perish the foolishness has been proven to be in the Bible. Joshua 1:8 said that, "This book of the Law should not depart from your mouth, and you must read it in an undertone day and night, in order to observe carefully all that is written in it; for then your way will be successful and then you will act wisely".
Aggressiveness
There will always be aggressive people, but having an open mind that they will always have their points is the key here. If you try and accept what they think or believe, and then try to reason out with them, they'd pretty much accept it.
There are some advice that will teach us how to slow down. Here are some:
- Proverbs 12:18. "Thoughtless speech is like the stabs of a sword,But the tongue of the wise is a healing".
- James 1:19, "Know this, my beloved brothers: Everyone must be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger".
Hostility
It has been clearly said by Romans 12:18-21, "If possible, as far as it depends on you, be peaceable with all men. But “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by doing this you will heap fiery coals on his head.” Do not let yourself be conquered by the evil, but keep conquering the evil with the good."
Pride
Self-pride is also a difficult challenge to hurdle because it emanates from within you, and you will have a hard time seeing it. But that's why you have friends. They will help you with this, just accept the things that they say about you and consider it a learning opportunity.
1 Peter 5:6 stated that humility is the secret, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time".

You must bring your awareness into this advice in Luke 21:34-36: “But pay attention to yourselves that your hearts never become weighed down with overeating and heavy drinking and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day be instantly upon you as a snare. For it will come upon all those dwelling on the face of the whole earth."
