1. The dramatic scenery created by volcanic eruptions attracts tourists.
This brings income to an area.
2. It can cause loss of lives and properties.
3. Human and natural landscapes can be destroyed and changed forever.
4. People also became creative by making earthenware out of the ashfall
from the Pinatubo Volcano eruption.
5. The high level of heat and activity inside the Earth, close to a volcano,
can provide opportunities for generating geothermal energy
6. Lava flows and lahars can destroy settlements and clear areas of
woodland or agriculture.
7. As the lava flows or pyroclastic materials are ejected in the air, they can

for agriculture.
