The brain is a soft spongy material that is found inside the skull. It also functions and sends messages to all parts of the body. It has 3 main parts, the cerebrum, cerebellum, and the brain stem. The largest part of the brain is the cerebrum which enables us to control movement. The part of the brain that coordinates our muscles is cerebellum. It is also called the "little brain". And the third part of the brain is brain stem or medulla. It controls our basic automatic functions.
