Quadratic equation is an equation defined by [tex]y=a x^{2} +bx+c[/tex] where [tex]a,b,c[/tex] are real numbers and [tex]a \neq 0[/tex] . It can be classified as complete quadratic equation where there is quadratic term, linear term and constant(e.g [tex] x^{2} +2x+1[/tex]) and incomplete quadratic equation where there is a missing term except for the quadratic term (e.g. [tex] x^{2} -64x[/tex],[tex] x^{2} [/tex]) This equation is also called the second degree equation.
