According to Article II Section III of the constitution of the Philippines, it is said that the people of the Republic of the Philippines has more power than the military has. In other words, the people has the right to ask, and in some instance interact, intervene and command the military. Afterall, the main goal of the military is the protection of the people of the Republic of the Philippines, as well as the land, sea and air under the sovereign right and jurisdiction of the country.
