What will happen if earth is not divided into layers?

It would be a baron wilderness just like most of the other planets, it would have no life,

It is because of the layers that life is able to exist, its inner core is responsible for the magnetic field that protects it from solar wind and radiation, The layer of magma is responsible for plate tectonics as it moves around like a boiling pot with the crust layer on top,

There is the water layer that covers 2/3 of earths surface which evaporates into the atmospheric layer and condenses into rain to give us a fresh water supply. on the earths surface there is a layer of vegetation growing producing oxygen so that life can survive, some of that oxygen helps maintain the ozone layer that helps block the suns radiation reaching earth, along with the magnetic field that protects the ozone from being striped away by the solar winds, the atmosphere above earth has its own layers, each of these layers preform a task in order that life can survive on earth.
