My Poor Philippines?
I remember when a hero once said an inspiration
That the
youth is the hope of this great nation
But I
think that is too far from the truth
Because this nation is the despair of the youth
This country has a lot of great universities
That offer a lot of courses but with high tuition fees
How could a Filipino child realize his dream
If this poor nation is becoming very mean
Election day come and go but Filipinos don't know
Who really had the high votes and who had low
Election for me is just a pitiful formality
Positions are inherited in this corrupted country
Why do us Filipino, condone wrong doings
of different people who are stealing
and why do we tolerate thievery
if not, Can we all not see?
ybe before we wake up we're all swamped
eping so tight not knowing this nation's dumped
really want is this nation be saved up
ore all of us, by the world are being laughed.
