The Circumferential measurement is taken around the body.
Where can you take circumferential measurements?
- Neck
- Chest (at the mid- or nipple-line)
- Waist (at the narrowest part, usually above the navel)
- Hips (with feet together, measure at the widest part of the buttocks)
-Thighs (6 inches above the knee cap)
-Calves.
Do not apply exaggerated pressure with the measuring tape. The tape should be snug against the skin but not pressing into the skin. Take your measures in exactly the same location every time for precise results.
